OnePlus has finally launched its flagship smartphone OnePlus 13– in China. It is one of the first devices to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. The OnePlus 13 differs from the curves of its predecessors, featuring a quad-curved design that gives it a flat appearance with subtle curves around the edges. The result is a slightly smaller phone, which is still equipped with a 6.82-inch display.

It features BOE’s X2 OLED display, an 8T LTPO panel with 1440p resolution and a 1-120 Hz refresh rate. Normal brightness is 800 nits, while peak brightness can reach 4,500 nits. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

One standout feature is the new vibration motor, which is designed to deliver “gaming controller level feedback” and according to the company, is the biggest feature ever found in an Android device. The OnePlus 13 is also introducing a new IP69 rating, a feature gaining popularity among Chinese flagship devices. This rating goes beyond IP68 by providing additional protection against high-pressure water and steam cleaning.
