OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 15 update for its flagship OnePlus 12, much ahead of its expected release date. The update based on Android 15 is now available for users in many regions including India. This new software brings a variety of updates and features. One of the most significant changes with OxygenOS 15 is the redesigned user interface. The home screen gets a new look with updated iconography and a more intuitive design, giving users a feeling of visual continuity. The new “Flux” themes offer customization options that allow users to personalize their device with the system wallpaper or even their own photos.

The lock screen and always-on display have also been given more customization features. Users can now tweak the watch’s design, apply AI-powered depth effects, and mix colors for a more personalized experience. Additionally, the glass texture and blurred wallpaper add a modern aesthetic to both the home and lock screens.

On the performance front, OnePlus has integrated advanced parallel processing within the system’s graphics engine. This is said to improve the rendering of animations, especially when multitasking or running resource-heavy apps. Additionally, OxygenOS 15 introduces easier changes to third-party apps and system-wide gestures.

This update also brings improvements in photo editing. OnePlus 12 users can now enjoy reversible editing globally, meaning previous edits are saved for future modifications.
