In a recent interview, the actor said that it is rare to have a spotless reputation in showbiz and pointed out that many veteran stars have also faced tough times in their careers.
During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Govinda said, “Who in this line has a spotless name? Are you crazy? Who has a spotless name, he would be a dangerous person. If someone is loved too much, they would be afraid of him. Sorry! It could be based on quality, like he comes on time, has a good heart, otherwise it is sure that the name will get spoiled. (sic)”

The actor also cited Aamir Khan as an example and talked about how the actor’s perceptions changed over time after he was known as a ‘perfectionist’.
