OG to VD12: Netflix announces new list of Telugu movies for 2025
Streaming giant Netflix revealed an exciting lineup of Telugu movies for 2025. These films will be released in theaters before streaming exclusively on Netflix.
Netflix has unveiled an exciting list of Telugu movies for 2025. After the blockbuster 2024 film with hits like Devara, Guntur Karam and Salaar, this new lineup has unveiled a series of Telugu films to be released in 2025. The slate includes big budget films like OG. Thandal and VD12, as well as fun commercial entertainers like Jack, Anaganaga Oka Raju and Maas Jathara.
The most awaited film on the list is Pawan Kalyan’s OG, an action-packed drama starring Emraan Hashmi and Priyanka Mohan. Directed by Sujeeth, the film marks the much-awaited return of Pawan to the big screen amid his political commitments as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Adding to the excitement is Thandel, where Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi reunite after Shekhar Kammula’s love story in an entertaining drama directed by Chandu Mondeti. Scheduled for theatrical release on February 7, 2025, the film promises to be an emotional experience.
Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming intense drama, VD12, will also stream on Netflix. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri and releasing in theaters on March 28, the film is going to be released in two parts. Meanwhile, Sidhu is all set to repeat the success of DJ Tillu with Jonnalagadda Jack, which will release on April 10 under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar.
The list includes other exciting projects like Hit 3: The Third Case, starring Nani, and Mass Jathara, Ravi Tejas’s milestone 75th film. Comedy fans will enjoy the much-awaited sequel Mad Square as well as Anaganaga Oka Raju starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Choudhary.
