Meghan McCain criticizes Meghan Markle’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan for being “completely tone deaf”. The lifestyle series explores cooking, gardening and homemaking with candid conversations with celebrities. The first season featured special guests like Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Prince Harry, and others.
Being a fan of the Duchess of Sussex, McCain thought the show’s concept was brilliant, stylish and fresh. However, like the rest of the world, their opinions changed when Markle disrespected the royal family.
In a tweet shared on X (formally Twitter), the blogger claimed that the Duchess wants to leave the British aristocracy and become American again, so the clips are real, raw and uncensored. He further added, “It’s all highly curated, manufactured and unrepeatable, even in the trailer.”
She explained how in today’s uncertain times where there have been 2 terrorist attacks in the last two days, wars are raging and Americans can’t pay for groceries, Markle needed to be sensitive.
McCain claimed that the former royal should have done something that had a larger purpose for the well-being of people and society. “Do something to help people instead of your ego. That’s why the world doesn’t like you, nothing else,” she said. The blogger added, “Completely and completely deaf at the moment.”
Markle and Prince Harry have launched a number of business ventures since they stepped away from the active royal family and moved to the United States, this series being one of them. She debuted the trailer on her Instagram and wrote, “I’m so excited to share this with you! I hope you love this show as much as I loved making it.”
He further wished everyone a Happy New Year and thanked his amazing crew and the Netflix team for their support and contribution. According to the official synopsis of the show, produced by the Duchess, it reimagines “the style of lifestyle programming, mixing practical methods and candid conversations with friends”.
With Love, Meghan will be released on Netflix on January 15, 2025.
