On April 28, it is not preparing to unveil its next budget phone – CMF Phone 2 Pro -, but a recent leak has already revealed what the upcoming smartphone’s prices can be. The company has not yet officially confirmed anything, but the leak gives a reasonable idea what to expect when the device is official.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: India Pricing Leak

According to Tipster Yogesh Brar, the price of CMF Phone 2 Pro can be around Rs 20,000, which should be on the expected lines in view of the price of the previous CMF Phone 1. It should be for base variants with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. A high storage model with 8GB RAM and internal memory of 256GB is also expected, which can carry a price of slightly more than Rs 20,000.

Although these are not official figures, they are also in line with the CMF lineup, which targets budget-conscious buyers. Interestingly, the tweet was removed by Tipster a few hours after creating his position on X aka Twitter. This means that you have something to decide.

Nothing happened in the market with a strong focus on premium devices, but over time, the brand has expanded the middle-limit and now the budget category. The phone (2A) is currently nothing, the cheapest mainstream device, which is less than Rs 25,000. CMF sub-brand was designed to further bring that price down-the CMF phone was launched for Rs 15,999. With the upcoming model “pro” tag, the price is expected to increase slightly, which seems to confirm this new leak.

What do we know about CMF Phone 2 Pro so far

CMF Phone 2 Pro will be operated by Dimism 7300 Pro chipset of MediaTek. According to the company, this processor will offer a better performance on the chip used in last year’s CMF Phone 1 – with claims of up to 10 percent faster CPU speed and up to 5 percent improvement in graphics handling. It will also include the next-Gyne NPU capable of 4.8 trillion operations per second.

The device will have a triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an area of ​​119.5-degree. For gamers, the phone is expected to offer a rapid 1000Hz touch response rate for 120fps gameplay support and smooth interaction for titles like BGMI.

One of the more unique additions on the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be the required key – a side button placed next to the power button that activates a new feature called “required place”. Once capable, this feature acts as a dedicated area to store often used data such as voice notes, screenshots and images. A system called “Smart Collections” is also expected to use AI to organize files, which automatically meets media in categories based on types, reducing the need for manual sorting. It is still not clear whether the required key will offer quick camera access as the phone of nothing is seen on 3A, but the teaser suggests some overlap in the feature set.
