According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), the Nothing Phone 4a will come to India with a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The tipster also claims that the handset could be offered in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. However, the price of these higher storage variants has not been revealed yet. It is important to note that the company has not officially confirmed these figures at the time of writing.
The same source further suggests that the Nothing Phone 4A Pro may start around Rs 40,000 in India. While detailed specifications of the Pro model remain unclear, the tipster has hinted that it may feature a “polarizing design.” If accurate, this could mean that Nothing is planning a bold visual approach, something the brand has been doing consistently since its first smartphone.
For comparison, the Nothing Phone 3a was launched in March last year at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the Nothing Phone 3a Pro was launched at Rs 27,999 for the same configuration. If the new pricing leak turns out to be true, the Phone 4a lineup will represent a notable price increase over the previous generation.
On the specifications front, nothing has already been confirmed except that the Phone 4A series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Reports indicate that the standard Phone 4A could be powered by Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 processor. The device is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. In terms of battery, the phone may pack a 5,400mAh unit with support for 50W wired fast charging.
Camera details have also started surfacing online. The Nothing Phone 4A is reported to include UFS 3.1 storage and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. If this combination materialises, it could make the handset more competitive in its segment, especially for users who prefer zoom photography.
The design teaser shared by the company shows that the phone 4A will be available in pink and white color options. The images show a triple rear camera setup along with the brand’s signature transparent rear panel. The overall look appears to be in line with Nothing’s existing design language, although final details will only become clear at launch.
The Nothing Phone 4A series will launch in India and select global markets on March 5. The company has confirmed that the devices will be sold in India via Flipkart. While the brand has only officially acknowledged the standard phone 4A so far, rumors are rife that the Pro model may also appear at the same event.
Just days before the launch, the leaked pricing has sparked new interest about the lineup. Whether the final India prices match these initial claims or not will be known when Nothing makes its official announcement.
