The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will go on sale in India on August 7, which is tomorrow. This new mid-range phone from Nothing is an improved version of the Phone 2a smartphone that was announced in March earlier this year. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be available in Grey and Black colours, with two models to choose from. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 27,999, but as per the sale offer, it will be offered at Rs 25,999. This includes a discount of Rs 2,000 on select bank cards. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 29,999, while its special launch price with bank cards is Rs 27,999.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. With an ARM Mali-G610 GPU, clocked at up to 1.3GHz, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus promises to be 30 percent faster than its predecessor. The device runs on NothingOS 2.6 based on Android 14. The company promises 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates.

The mid-range device sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1300nits and supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is an upgrade to pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming, which is now tuned to 2160Hz.

The device has the same 5,000mAh battery capacity as the Phone 2a, but the charging speed has been substantially upgraded from 33W to 50W. In terms of the camera system, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus has a dual rear setup and a front setup for selfies. The rear system includes a main 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.88 lens and an ultra-wide 50-megapixel sensor with a 114-degree field of view. All three sensors support direct 50-megapixel photo output, HDR photography, and 4K video recording.
