Nothing Phone 2a Plus chipset details, other specifications confirmed ahead of July 31 launch
Nothing has confirmed that its upcoming Nothing Phone 2A Plus smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G chipset.
Just three months after launching the Nothing Phone 2a smartphone in India, Nothing is preparing to launch a “Plus” variant of the device. The smartphone, called the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, is set to launch in India on July 31. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the chipset details of the smartphone. Upgrading from the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset seen in the Nothing Phone 2a, the Phone 2a Plus is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G chipset. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus will also be the world’s first smartphone to use the chipset.
While the Nothing Phone 2a was never meant to be a gaming phone, it did offer decent gaming performance, at least in terms of mid-graphics games. With the Nothing Phone 2a, the company is calling it a “gamer’s dream.” Nothing is advertising the gaming capabilities of the smartphone this time around, and that will be something interesting to test.

The Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G chipset features TSMC 4nm Gen 2 technology. It comes with an 8-core processor with speeds up to 3.0 GHz. The company claims that the Dimensity 7350 Pro offers about 10 percent faster CPU performance than the Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset in the Phone 2a.
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is also confirmed to feature an ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked at 1.3GHz. According to Nothing, this will boost gaming performance by up to 30 percent compared to the Nothing Phone 2a.
Additionally, the Nothing Phone 2A Plus will come with up to 12GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to an additional 8GB with RAM Booster technology.
The camera system on the Nothing Phone 2A Plus is also confirmed to support 4K video recording, HDR images, and HDR10+ playback on both the front and rear cameras. For connectivity, the smartphone will feature dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6 for better speed, reliability, and efficiency.
Earlier this week, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis also shared a teaser image of the Nothing Phone 2A Plus, hinting at new grey and black colour variants of the phone. The image was accompanied by the caption: “Plus, More, Extra”.
“With the Phone (2a) Plus, we had the opportunity to create an improved version for discerning users who demand more processing power. We also made some improvements that did not require changes to the hardware design. Finally, we accomplished this with a new kick-ass variant that reflects these upgrades,” Evangelidis wrote in his post on the X.
