CMF by Nothing is gearing up to launch its new devices in India. Along with the CMF Phone 1 and Buds Pro 2, the company will also launch its new smartwatch, the Watch Pro 2, on July 8. The upcoming wearable has already been listed on Flipkart for sale at 2.30 pm. Ahead of the launch, Nothing has started teasing about the smartwatch, hinting at some of the key features of the device. The company recently showed a glimpse of the CMF Watch Pro 2 design and watch faces on X (formerly Twitter). Recently, CMF by Nothing posted that the upcoming smartwatch will have an aluminium alloy body.
CMF Watch Pro 2: Design
CMF aims to make great design more accessible, while also providing an uncompromised experience by focusing on core product functionalities. As per the teaser, the CMF Watch Pro 2 seems to follow this aim. In the recently released teaser, the company has shared half an image of the upcoming smartwatch and called it “an amazing all-rounder”.
The watch can be seen with a round bezel with a round crown in a grey colour palette. In this post, the watch face appears in a similar grey shade with black, white and orange colours. The company has also confirmed that the device will have an aluminium alloy body.
Talking about watch faces, in another recent post, CMF has shared that the device will have more than 100 variants of watch faces. The company said that the Watch Pro 2 will allow users to create and customize watch faces. CMF by Nothing has also shared some watch faces via social media.
CMF Watch Pro 2 price in India (expected)
The CMF Watch Pro was originally launched at a price of Rs 4,499. Now, the CMF Watch Pro 2 could be launched in India at the same price or slightly higher. But we don’t expect it to cross this price range. However, these are just expectations and we will have to wait for the actual price of the CMF Watch Pro 2 when it is released on July 8.
CMF Phone 1 launched in India
Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is entering the smartphone business for the first time with the CMF Phone 1 on July 8.
The device will give tough competition to existing phones priced under Rs 20,000 as many devices come with the less powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC or Dimensity 7050 chip. It is worth noting that the Oppo Reno 12 has been launched with the same chip in Europe and is expected to be priced around Rs 40,000 whenever it is launched in India. In Europe, the same device has been priced at around Rs 44,000.
