NFL wide receiver DK Metcaf revealed that he was associated with singer Normani. The athlete shared the news on 13 March during its first press conference as Pittsburgh Steeler. While discussing his move in Pittsburgh, he carelessly mentioned the proposal.
“I proposed to my fiancé, and (former team partner Russell Wilson) was the one who added us,” said Metcaf. “So he was congratulating me, congratulating us on him.”
Normani was present at the press conference to support him. Metkaf then encouraged him to show his ring. “He is there.” Hold the rock, children, ”he said.
Metkaf shared that he had proposed a day before the announcement in Houston, both of his families were present according to the American weekly. He shared that since this was his sister’s spring break, he thought that would be a good opportunity to bring the two families together for a special moment and unite them with an engagement ring.
The proposal was planned for some time. DK Metkaf said he had tried to propose the previous year, but the busy program of Normani as a singer made it difficult to find the right time.
To make the moment special, he took additional steps for the proposal by sending his flowers with a story. He said that the last letter on the flower said “Will you marry me?” And he said yes.
Normony and Metkaf began dating in 2022 after being introduced by Russell Wilson and Siara. Wilson and Metkaf first played together for Seattle Sehox. In July 2023, Nermani kissed his cheek and shared a picture of Metkaf and publicly confirmed his relationship.
In an interview in June 2024 with Apple Music, he said while talking about his connection that he met through Ciara and Wilson. He said that if there was a couple, she could have trusted it to establish it, it would be her.
The engagement comes at a significant time in the career of Metkaf. Before proposing, they were traded from Sehock to Steellers. He also signed the contract expansion of five years, $ 150 million.
