In April, Nora Fatehi had made a statement on feminism that many people did not like. The actress-model had advocated the concept of having a family and fought the right fight with the wrong words. In a recent interview with Mashable India, Nora has now apologised if anyone felt hurt by her comments in the past.
Nota Fatehi’s comment on feminism was exaggerated
In an old interview with BeerBiceps, Nora Fatehi had argued that men and women are not equal and that she doesn’t believe in the idea that I don’t need anyone. “I don’t believe in this nonsense. In fact, I think feminism is ruining our society,” Nora had said, adding that the idea of being completely independent naturally is not something she really connects with.
She said, “I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and live their lives and be independent to a certain extent.” Fatehi added that while people call it old fashioned, traditional thinking, she feels it is a normal way of thinking. The Crack actress, however, advocated for women’s rights, saying when feminism becomes radical, it becomes dangerous for society.

Nota Fatehi clarifies her feminist comment
Now, in a new interview with Mashable India, the 32-year-old further elaborated on his old comment, saying that it is okay to promote the ideology of ‘I can do everything myself’ in Western culture. However, people should encourage nuclear families and two-person households who can help raise children who can become good members of society in the future.
Nora said that her comments were taken out of context, saying, “I definitely apologize for upsetting and hurting people, but I had no such intention.” She further added that she is well educated and can express her opinions based on her experiences in life. Fatehi said, “I don’t want what is happening in the West to happen in this part of the world because there is nothing better than maintaining traditions and values and morals.”
Talking about work, Nota Fatehi was last seen in Kunal Khemu’s film Madgaon Express.
