Gol gappa aka pani puri is a feeling. The crispy puri is a wonder in itself. With potato masala and khatta-meetha pani, its flavour in your mouth will compel you to eat it. But food experiments have invaded this favourite snack as well. In a recent video doing the rounds on the internet, a street vendor was seen making gol gappa without potato stuffing or tangy-spicy flavoured water. Instead, noodles were added to the puri. This video has been posted by food vlogger Kashish on Instagram. gonna The clip reads, “Gol gappas.” It begins with the vendor making a small hole in the centre of the crispy puris. Next, he fills them with noodles and pours a generous amount of mustard sauce. The process is repeated to make a thicker filling and voila, the noodle gol gappas are ready to be served. The vlogger takes a bite and from her delightful expressions, it seems she thoroughly enjoyed the “unique” gol gappas.

Apart from noodles golgappas, three more options were available: dry golgappas for Rs 10 and cream and tandoori golgappas for Rs 15.

As soon as the video was uploaded on the platform, food lovers instantly reacted to it. “Gol-gappe We are ashamed, your murderers are still alive A food lover commented, “Gol gappa, we are ashamed, your murderer is still alive.”
