ZOMATO CEO Deepinder Goyal’s recent hiring post created widespread interest, and now he has posted an update about the recruitment process. Deepinder mentioned that out of over 18,000 applications, 30 extraordinary candidates got offers, and 18 have already joined the high-effect roles in Zomato. He also clarified that “no one paid anything” for the job, and all are being given beautiful compensation “. In an X (East Twitter) post, Deepinder Goyal wrote, “We started with 18,000+ applications and have the privilege to meet more than 150 incredibly talented persons. The CEO of ZOMATO also mentioned that what was set to the selected candidates was their “long -term mentality”. If you remember it, in November 2024, Deepinder Goyal announced that he was looking for a Chief of Staff, which would not get salary for the first year. Instead, the chosen candidate was expected to pay Rs 20 lakh to Zomato. See her post below:
