Nobody Wants This, starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, has been picked up for Season 2 by Netflix. The chief content officer of the streaming platform revealed that the story of the show will continue with its romantic scenes and punch lines but with new creators on board.
As far as executive producer, Eric Foster will once again take the seat as the creative voice of the series.
The first season of the Netflix series was released late last month, leaving fans wanting to see more of Brody and Bell’s chemistry. Additionally, Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan have come on board as executive producers of the series, with the names of the writers still under wraps. Other producers include Erin Foster, Sara Foster, Bell, Steven Levitan and Ollie Obst. Is the 20th television studio.
Konner and Kaplan agreed to each take a seat at the show’s table before the first episode was released in September.
According to reports, Nobody Wants This was expected to become one of the most watched rom-com series. While the season opened at second place in the opening week, it rose to first place the following week.

In a statement released by Foster ahead of the announcement of Season 2, she said that appearing as a producer on the show has been a highlight of her career.
He elaborated, “The incredible cast, crew, producers and executives have all made it into the show that it is today, and to experience the audience reactions to this series now that it’s out into the world has exceeded my wildest dreams.” “
Foster continued to say that she was fortunate to be able to continue the story and especially to do so with Konner and Kaplan.
Nobody Wants This was ordered by Netflix in March 2023, with Foster and Craig DiGregoria stepping in as executive producers before the show’s title was even announced. However, with only two months remaining and the WGA strike lasting five months, the series was on a fairly hectic schedule. The cast and crew members began filming the show in January 2023 in order to recapture the release date.
