Yash is celebrating his 40th birthday on January 8, 2026. As part of the celebration, the makers of her next film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, have unveiled her introduction video, revealing her character’s name as Raya.

With the introduction glimpse breaking the internet, director Ram Gopal Varma has expressed surprise while praising director Geetu Mohandas for his execution.

Ram Gopal Varma shared the introduction teaser on social media and wrote, “After watching the trailer of Toxic starring Yash, I have no doubt that Geetu Mohandas is the ultimate symbol of women empowerment.. No male director is man enough compared to this woman.. I still can’t believe she shot this.”

The latest teaser of Toxic features Yash as Raya, a gangster with a striking look. The glimpse begins at a funeral, where a group of men gather to mourn their loved one, with the patriarch asking his men to secure the area so the ceremony can proceed peacefully.

However, soon a car crashes into the graveyard, revealing Raya inside Yash. He crashes the entire ceremony and causes havoc throughout the venue, ultimately setting the place on fire with the last line, “Daddy’s house”.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled the first look of the lead co-stars in the film, which included Kiara Advani as Nadia, Nayanthara as Ganga, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a period action thriller co-written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Apart from Yash and the above actresses, the film also stars Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari and many others in important roles.

The film is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be released in six Indian languages ​​including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.

The film’s music and background score is composed by Ravi Basrur, while John Wick action director JJ Perry choreographed some of the action sequences, with the Anbariyan duo handling select action portions.
