No Longer Aloud in Another World follows a depressed writer named Sensei, who makes a suicide pact with his girlfriend, Sachane. Before they can do anything, they are hit by a truck, and Sensei suddenly finds himself in another world, where an elf priestess named Annette calls him to become a hero. However, he ignores her and wanders off, with no desire to help others.

He tries to kill himself but fails due to bad luck, and he inadvertently saves a girl cat whom he names Tama. He never pays attention to her and always ignores her when she tries to tell him her real name. Annette and Tama become his companions as he seeks to find Sacchan so they can complete their suicide pact.

What happened in the last episode of No Longer Allowed in Another World?

In the second episode of No Longer Aloud in Another World, Osamu Dazai (Sensei) and his team arrive in Rotto, a castle town. They meet King Thomas and his daughter, Princess Charlotte. Thomas plans to marry Charlotte to either Gomes or Otto, a brave knight and Charlotte’s childhood friend, with the groom becoming the next king. Sensei, an adventurer, asks Thomas who he thinks would be best suited for Charlotte.

Osamu Dazai refuses to answer a crucial decision affecting Charlotte’s future, blaming the King for the failure and calling him a “terrible dictator”. Later, he sees Charlotte staring at the lake, feeling so relaxed that she wants to drown herself. Charlotte shares her troubles with Dazai, but Sensei advises her not to devote her life only for the sake of others.

He suggests she look into her heart and ask what she really wants. The next day, Charlotte confesses to her father in court that she intends to commit double suicide with Osamu Dazai because only he understands her true feelings. Of course, the princess’ decision shocks King Thomas. At that moment, Gomes reveals his true identity as the Demon King’s subordinate. He says he wants to destroy Roto and every living being in the land.

Tama and Annette fight against a demonic entity, but Sensei asks the demon to kill them. Charlotte, hesitantly, decides to defend her land. Tama and Annette defeat the demon, and Thomas abdicates his throne. Thomas makes his daughter Queen of Rotto. The episode ends with an injured Annette bringing Sensei to an elven priest, leaving a cliffhanger.
