After sharing the screen with Prabhas Raja SaabActor Nidhhi Agerwal reflected on working with the superstar, noting that fans are eager to see her back in a lighter, comedy-oriented role.

In an exclusive chat with India Today, Nidhi praised her co-star, saying, “Prabhas sir doesn’t come across as someone who people immediately associate with comedy, but before Baahubali, he actually did a number of films with a strong comic element. That’s why so many people are excited to see him back in this avatar.”

Speaking about Prabhas as a person, Nidhi said that the perception around him largely matches the reality. “I think everything people say about him is true — that he’s a sweetheart, that he has the personality of a king, and that he treats people well. People also say that he’s very quiet and talks mostly to people he knows or is comfortable with, and that’s true,” she shared.

However, he stressed that once one gets to know him, a different side emerges. He added, “Once you meet him and start talking to him, he’s one of the sweetest, most non-judgmental people you can interact with. He’s not at all what people think at first; he’s a little shy and selective.”

Nidhi also described Prabhas as an introvert who brings vibrant energy to the film sets, especially in a comedy-driven environment. “He’s very introverted, and I think that’s great. He’s perfect just the way he is. On set, though, he’s so much fun. Especially in this movie, because of the genre, everyone was having a great time. We had days when we were shooting multiple comedy scenes with eight or nine actors, and it felt like a complete laugh riot,” she said.

The atmosphere off-screen was as entertaining as it was on camera, he said. “I have seen those scenes on screen, but even behind the scenes, it was so much fun. It was hard to actually act because someone or the other was constantly creating a ruckus. The overall atmosphere on the set was very relaxed and fun.”

Looking ahead, Nidhi opened up about what kind of projects she hopes to do next. “To be honest, what I want to do next is a love story. I would really love to make a love story because I had worked on a period film with Pawan Kalyan sir before, and that was like a different world altogether. This (Raja Saab) is a completely different world again – fantasy and all that,” she said.

She said she now wants simplicity in storytelling. “So now I want to do a period love story film which takes three to six months of shooting. No CG, no VFX, simple look. I want to do just one period film after this and then maybe come back to this genre.”

On the work front, Nidhi has several films lined up in Telugu and Hindi. He said, “I have three films in Telugu and two films in Hindi. Everyone told me that 2025 was my year, and I really feel like, in many ways, it was. I was given a lot of love, but I really hope that 2026 will also be a great year.”
