Nick Jonas never gave a chance to fight his wife Priyanka Chopra. After the announcement of his latest project, the singer and the actor took him to his Instagram handle to campaign.
Sharing a poster of his upcoming action-comedy heads of state, Jonas wrote, “Pump for it! The film stars Chopra with Idris Elba and John Cena.
Directed by Ilya Nisular, the film is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video on 2 July. On Wednesday, the makers of the film left the first trailer of the film and shared a very awaited updates of the project.
John Cena will be reunited with Idris Elba after a high-octane action-comedy suicide squad. Both will be seen as world leaders, who are trying to separate their rivalry and save the world while fighting the “worst security violations in history”.
The trailer saw him exchanging a tonne banquet while trying to fight with a powerful and ruthless opponent.
What is Priyanka Chopra’s role in the film?
As Cena and Elba’s first joint diplomatic visit is violently interrupted by an attack on an aircraft, Chopra comes in his defense as a Mi6 agent, Noel Biset, with another colleague played by Jack Quad.
Without any backup, Peecee is seen fighting goons with guns and grenades in the action-pack film. The film will highlight whether she succeeds or fails in her mission.
Chopra and Jonas tied the knot in 2018. He welcomed his daughter, Malty Mary, through surrogacy in January 2022.
Priyanka, known for her work in both Bollywood and Hollywood, is dividing her time between America and India. According to reports, he has signed Krrish 4 and is fully prepared to share screen space with Hrithik Roshan once again. There are rumors that he charged Rs 30 crore for the role. The film has not yet received the official release date, but is expected to be a hit in theaters in 2026.
