A new video with a graphical reticule shows US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s head in the middle of the scene, aimed at by a sniper.
The video shows Mr Trump tilting his head to see the graphic on the screen and leaning towards the microphone saved his life, according to an article posted on X by American journalist Mario Nofal, whose ‘The Roundtable Show’ is described as one of the greatest examples of citizen journalism.
“The new footage shows Trump dodging a precisely aimed shot. Close-up footage shows that Thomas Crook’s shot was aimed exactly at the centre of Trump’s head… the footage was captured seconds before the shot was fired,” Mr Nofal said in the post.

The US Department of Homeland Security is investigating the Secret Service’s handling of security at the campaign rally where a gunman attempted to assassinate Mr Trump.
The Secret Service has been facing heightened scrutiny since Saturday’s shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, in which a gunman opened fire on the Republican presidential candidate from an open rooftop about 150 yards from the stage where Mr Trump was delivering a speech.
Mr Trump was hit in the ear and one person at the rally was killed. The gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was shot dead by Secret Service snipers.
President Joe Biden has ordered an independent review of the Secret Service’s handling of the attempted assassination, which is also being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a possible domestic terrorism case.
The Secret Service is responsible for the security of the U.S. President, Vice President, and former presidents and their families, as well as major electoral candidates and visiting foreign heads of state.
