In an interview, he revealed his unique approach towards housing, where he avoided renting and instead sold his existing apartment to invest in the next one. In conversation on YouTube channel housing.comNeena told about booking a three-BHK flat in a builder’s new project. After selling his current residence and investing the funds in a new property, his financial situation was tight. During this period she started living with her aunt and uncle.

Neena said, “I went to my aunt’s house where I used to live. I thought that I stayed there for so long and I just came back to my house to sleep. Since Masaba was small then, she was in my aunt’s care. She used to help me after the child. But one day, she threw me out in the middle of the night when I had no place to go with the child.

However, later Neena’s uncle offered her a vacant flat in Juhu, which was vacant for 20 years. Despite cleaning the dusty and cobweb-filled house, Neena is soon asked to leave the place too.

She said, “Before shifting with them, I had already told both of them that I am going to live without a home now, so do you agree to live with me? They then said yes. Now, uncle felt very So she felt bad, I was taken to my in-laws house in Juhu, which was closed for 20 years, there were spider webs in the house, I went there and I cleaned that house with a small child to leave her. Said house also.”

With no other accommodation, he approached the builder for a refund, explaining his desperate situation. Fortunately, the builder refunded her entire money, allowing Neena to buy a house in Aaram Nagar, where she moved in with her daughter.

Neena Gupta’s personal life also attracted attention during the 1980s when she was in a relationship with former West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards. In 1989, they welcomed their daughter Masaba. Talking about work, Neena Gupta was last seen in the series 1000 Babies.
