Nawazuddin Siddiqui was recently seen in ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ and received a good response from the audience. During this, he discussed actors increasing their fees and small films doing wonders after being released on OTT platforms.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, ‘I don’t know about others, but my fees are very balanced.’

In a recent interview with India Today, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that there is no harm in actors getting their fees after the film is completed rather than at the beginning.

Nawazuddin told the portal, “I don’t know about others, but my fees are very balanced. Others may have a hike in their fees, but I haven’t. But a good film should be made at any cost and for that, if we take fees later rather than at the beginning of the film, there is no harm in it. The idea should be to make good films without any burden.”

The Gangs of Wasseypur actor also said that small films have brought about a change in the industry. According to him, these small films which make a name for themselves when released internationally have brought about a bit of a change.

When they are later promoted on OTT, they do wonders. The actor also shared that big films do not have any solid content; the packaging is great but there is nothing inside. Siddiqui concluded, “Thank God that OTT platforms promote great actors, great content and films.”

In a recent interview with News18, Nawazuddin spoke about his looks and questioned why some people hate his looks. “Kyunki shaql hi aisi hai-Itne bure hain humlog. Humein bhi lagta hai, jab apne aapko mirror me dekhte hain.”

He called himself the physically ugliest actor in the film industry and said that he believes in it because he has been hearing it since the beginning and now he has also started agreeing with it. The actor also thanked Bollywood for giving him his due and said that if you have even a little talent, this industry will give you a lot.

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin’s ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ is currently streaming on ZEE5.
