What is Narivetta story about?
Narivetta has a story of Peter Varghese (played by Tovino Thomas), a young unemployed person who lives with his mother. As he considers most jobs under him, Peter lives in a poor financial situation and mostly borrow money from his girlfriend, Sophia, who is from a rich family and a cushion job.
After Sophia’s father insulted him for being poor, he is heartbroken, even his father agrees with what his father said. At the same time, Peter is accepted as a constable in the Kerala Police, inadvertently joins the force.
Due to his fierce nature, Peter faced ragging from his superiors when he joined the service. However, he finds an associate in an old and soft constable, Bashir Ahmed (Suraj Venjaramudu), who becomes an assistant elder brother.
As we progress in the story, a squad of Peter, Bashir and CRPF police officers is deployed in a mountainous area of Wayanad district. Officers are to provide protection in 2003 as protest against tribal groups for the land promised by the Government of Kerala.
However, on a frightening day, Bashir does not return to his police camp even after hours, which Peter worries about him.
How did Bashir go missing?
Soon, Bashir Ahmed is found dead in the forest, the authorities admitted that the tribal people killed him. This enables the police to reduce protests, but Peter Varghese hesitates to accept that it was caused by the tribal community.
As the police squad led by Dighuram Keshavdas (Cheran) led the attack against the protesters, Peter finds out that Bashir was murdered by a police commando.

Peter Varghese reported the truth to Raghuram Keshavdas, only to realize that Bashir was killed by Dig’s orders. It turns out that a police officer’s “sacrifice” was required to move public support from the side of the tribal community.
As the ruling party is facing this crisis, the police force was enabled to take such an act against the tribal people, reducing their rights.
Peter Varghese is forced to follow him by his superiors, and he is broken. As the protest intensifies, the police kills 5 tribal people, even a 7-year-old girl, and burns them deep within the forest.
Later, after seeing the events, it was interrupted, by changing his nature, Peter Varghese decided to go against his profession and do what is correct. The constable revealed everything to a lawyer, in which everyone is being arrested, which provides justice to the tribal community, which they deserved.
