After months of speculations and rumours, actor Nani has finally confirmed his next project! As per the latest announcement shared on the occasion of the star’s 42nd birthday, the Tollywood superstar will be leading Bloody Romeo. The film will be directed by director Sujeeth, who is known for his work in films like Run Raja Run, Saaho and most prominently in They Call Him OG with Pawan Kalyan.
Bloody Romeo announced to lead gangster project with Nani
Remembering her birthday, Nani wrote, “A little bit of action.. a little bit of fun.. a little bit of madness.. and a lot of love :)” She confirmed that the film with director Sujeeth will be titled Bloody Romeo, as previously rumoured. Along with the unveiling of the poster, a clip was shared hinting at the character played by the star. It depicts a man who is adept at preparing for a storm, both literally and figuratively. As he prepares a spicy, delicious dish, he sets the room ablaze and exudes his sought-after aura. They are introduced as ‘numbers’. 1 Chef and Gangster.’ The last words in the clip were, ‘Shooting begins this dinner’, which was changed to ‘Summer’.

A similar sentiment was shared by the director, who said that the actor was born to find love and would soon be welcomed into the chaos that unfolds with the film. Bloody Romeo is being bankrolled by Niharika Entertainment and Anonymous Productions, while Venkat Boyanapalli is producing it. An international filming timeline is expected due to the London hint in the new title sneak peek.
Although the release date of the film has not been confirmed yet, fans can expect more updates when the shooting of the film starts soon. Meanwhile, Nani will next be seen in The Paradise, which has postponed its release date to August 21, 2026.
