Director Prashanth Varma had announced his upcoming social-fantasy film, tentatively titled Simha, which marks the acting debut of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son, Nandamuri Taraka Ram Mokshagya Teja, also known as Moksha Nandamuri. Ready for. Recently, rumors of cancellation of the project, which is part of the Prashant Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), have started spreading.

The makers of the film have now issued a clarification, dismissing all speculations as “baseless rumours”. SLV Cinemas shared an official statement on its X page with the caption, “Please stop spreading fake news. All official information will come through official channels only.”

Addressing the rumours, the makers said, “There are some baseless rumors spreading regarding the project. We assure you that they are not true. He added that all official announcements or updates about the project will be shared exclusively through the official social media handles of the production team.

In the concluding note, the makers requested the audience and media to avoid spreading unverified information. “We request the public and media to refrain from sharing or propagating unverified information,” he said. The project is being produced by SLV Cinemas and Legend Productions, and is reportedly the second film at PVCU.

The collaboration between Moksh Nandamuri and Prashant Varma was first revealed on Moksh’s birthday. Varma had expressed his excitement on social media with the caption, “With great pleasure and privilege, introducing you… Nandamuri Taarak Ram Mokshagya Teja. Happy birthday Mokshu. Welcome to @THEPVCU. Let’s do this. Thanks to #NandamuriBalakrishna garu for all the trust and blessings. Hopefully it will be made even more special and memorable for everyone.

Apart from this project, Prashant Verma recently announced his collaboration with National Award winner Rishabh Shetty for the upcoming film Jai Hanuman.
