Namaste, Namaste, Assalamu Alaikum: Aishwarya Rai greets fans at Red Sea Festival
Aishwarya Rai’s warm greeting – “Hello, Namaste, Assalamu Alaikum” at the Red Sea Film Festival left fans spellbound. The actress looked beautiful in her black gown while speaking at a session.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan greets fans at the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday. Dressed in a sleek black gown, she participated in a discussion session where as soon as she stepped on stage, the audience started clapping. Acknowledging the crowd’s enthusiasm, Aishwarya responded equally warmly.
“Such a generous welcome,” he said. When a fan shouted, “Aishwarya, I love you,” she replied with her typical charm:
“Oh, thank you. Love you all too.”
Then she addressed the room, saying, “Hello, Namaste, Assalamu Alaikum Oh, so lovely, everyone is waving.”
When another fan complimented the former Miss World and described her as beautiful, Aishwarya was quick to respond:
“Thank you. You are beautiful. You are all beautiful people. Your love is overwhelming. Thank you so much. Seriously, I am so overwhelmed by your love and generosity and expression of it. Thank you for having me here.”
Aishwarya is one of the Indian cinema icons representing the industry at this year’s festival. Actress Kriti Sanon is also expected to arrive this weekend.
Other global names in attendance included Oscar nominee Kirsten Dunst, the Vampire Diaries Stars Nina Dobrev, and Queen Latifah.
The fifth edition of the Red Sea Film Festival will run till December 13. This year’s prestigious International Spectacular slate features Angelina Jolie. CoutureJude Law’s magician of the kremlinand Rupert Wyatt’s desert warrior, Starring Ben Kingsley and Anthony Mackie.
