Veteran actor Nagarjuna, whose son Naga Chaitanya got engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8, shared the reason behind their ‘hurried engagement’. In a recent interview, he also revealed that the wedding date is yet to be finalised.

During an Interview Times NowNagarjuna was asked if the wedding date has been fixed. To this he replied, “Not immediately. As I told you, We decided to get engaged in a hurry Because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Shobhita were absolutely sure that they wanted to get married, we said, let’s do it.”

When asked if he gets along well with Sobhita, he said, “I get along very well. In fact, you will be surprised to know that I know her much before Chay. Yes! Chay knew Sobhita two years ago. But I have known her for six years. I saw her in Adivi Sesh’s film ‘Goodachari’ and liked her work. I told her this. Since then, we have had many discussions on cinema, life and philosophy. Sobhita is a very knowledgeable girl.”
