Actors Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala are getting married in December. Now the groom-to-be shared more details about his traditional wedding plans and what Shobhita means to him. In a recent interview, he mentioned that his bride-to-be makes him perfect, and he can’t wait to start a new journey with her.

Tea, as they are popularly called, spoke to The Times of IndiaAnd reiterated that their wedding is going to be simple, traditional and without any frills. The actor, who celebrated his birthday on Saturday, shared that they will get married in front of the statue of his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) at his family’s Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

He said, “There’s definitely a lot of excitement, butterflies… not much (smiles). The butterflies are only because of the planning and logistics that are involved in those days, like getting the guest list together and putting together other details. The wedding will happen together. The wedding will take place at Annapurna Studio (Hyderabad), which has a very special feeling associated with it.”

She further added, “It was a conscious decision of the family to get married in front of my grandfather’s statue and seek his blessings. Our families are excited to come together and celebrate.”

Chai showered his future wife with love and appreciation. Expressing how he and Shobhita are looking forward to celebrating their life together, he said, “I look forward to starting a new journey with Shobhita and celebrating life together. I am deeply connected with her, she understands me beautifully and fills a void inside me. The journey ahead is going to be amazing.”

Chaitanya and Shobhita will get married as per Telugu customs on December 4. The couple plans to keep it as close to home as possible, ditching the wedding venues, popular designers and stylists for their big day. In fact, they sourced their wedding dresses locally and involved their family members in all decisions.
