How to make Nadru Kofta. Nadru Kofta Recipe

Making Nadru Kofta is easy. This recipe has been shared by content creator @princebchef on Instagram. Here’s how to make it:

1. Prepare Kofta Balls

Grate potatoes and Nadru stalks together. Add chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder and gram flour. Mix well and shape the mixture into small balls.

2. Fry the balls

– Heat oil in a pan. – Slowly add the kofta balls into it and fry until they turn golden. Fry on medium flame to get perfect crispness and colour. Cancel.

3. Prepare the gravy

– Heat some desi ghee in a pan. Add whole spices like cumin, chilli and bay leaves. When aroma comes, add fennel powder, garam masala, turmeric, red chili powder and salt. Stir well, then add fresh curd. Add water to adjust the consistency.

4. To collect

Add the fried kofta balls to the gravy and cook for 5-6 minutes so that their flavors are absorbed properly. Garnish with chili oil and serve!

Can you make Nadru Kofta healthier?

Yes you can! Instead of deep frying the balls, use an air fryer to bake them. This method retains the flavor of the vegetable and spices without the drawback of excess oil. To add creaminess to the gravy, you can also add cashew paste to the gravy, which will eliminate the need for heavy cream.
