Prince Harry is turning 40, as his birthday is on September 15. In a recently released statement, he spoke truthfully about the start of this new decade of his life.
The Duke of Sussex said in a statement to the BBC that “I was anxious” when he turned 30 but he is now “excited” to enter the fourth decade of his life. He said, “Whatever age, my mission is to continue to do good and do good work in the world”.
According to the publication, Prince Harry will celebrate the festival with his wife Meghan Markle and two children Archie and Lilibet in California and after that they will go on a vacation with their close friends.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, the Duke of Sussex shared that becoming a father to “two incredibly kind and fun” children has given him a new perspective on life as well as focus in all he does. He further added that being a father is one of his “greatest joys” and has increased his motivation and commitment to make this world a better place.
According to the outlet, the past decade has been challenging for Prince Harry as it was full of changes. He turned 30 a year after returning from his second tour in Afghanistan with the British Army.
The Duke of Sussex has previously reflected on the experience in his memoir, revealing he had a very difficult time when he returned and went through a period of lethargy and “anxiety”. He is reported to have broken up with his ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas just months before his 30th birthday.
Ever since he married the Suits actress in 2018, they have both been major subjects of receiving hate and have become the hot topic of headlines with many speculations running rampant online instantly.
These honors grew especially after the two stepped away from their royal duties in 2020 to settle down in California and raise their family with each other.
