The makers of my husband Ki Bavi released the trailer of the film in Mumbai on Saturday. In the lead roles of Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, the film is the story of a trio that is trapped in the past and cannot deal with the present because one of them gets amnesia.

Bhumi has played the role of Arjun’s bold ex -wife, Prabelin, who forgets her divorce after diagnosing forgetting disease. Ankur is now involved with Antara (Rakul) and the two try to navigate through Prablen’s effort to save their marriage. It inspires Ankur to select between ‘East-Eye’ and ‘Current Dildar’. Therefore, tons of confusion, laughter and logic.

The film essentially focuses on the fight between two women to attract a man’s attention – a commercial formula has been used in Bollywood films since time.

My husband’s wife is directed by Mudshar Aziz, who also used Akshay Kumar’s sports sports Meen last year.

The film looks on a glamorous, romantic and sarcastic relationships. It also appears like an excavation on those who plan their life in advance and life keeps throwing them a curveball.

Also starring stand-up comedy artists Harsh Gujral, Shakti Kapoor and Dino Moriya, it has been slated to hit the screen on 21 February.
