Samantha Ruth Prabhu has taken it to her official Instagram handle to speak out against Telangana Minister Konda Surekha after her comments on the actress’ divorce from Naga Chaitanya.
In a written post, the actress wrote, “To be a woman, to come out and work, to survive in a glamorous industry where women are often not treated as props, to fall in love and be loved. Get out, stand still and fight. It takes a lot of courage and strength. Konda Surekha garu, I am proud of what this journey has made me, please do not trivialize it.”
He further said, “I hope you realize that as a minister your words matter a lot. I urge you to be responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy. My divorce is a private matter and I request you to refrain from speculating about it. “Our decision to keep things private does not invite misrepresentation.”
Samantha further urged the minister to keep her name away from the political fight and she herself wanted to continue her life in a non-political manner. Furthermore, the actress also clarified that their divorce was by mutual consent and there was no political interference involved.
