Mukesh Khanna on bringing back Shaktimaan: This generation is running blind
Actor Mukesh Khanna recently talked about the return of desi superhero Shaktimaan to the Indian screen. The actor shared that his success in Shaktimaan was due to his deep passion for the role.
Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, best known for playing India’s original superhero Shaktiman, delighted fans by announcing the return of the character to Indian screens. in an interview with ANIKhanna shared his deep connection with the role and expressed his excitement about doing it again.
Talking about his character, Khanna said, “This is a costume from within me, I think personally too, in my mind this costume has come from within me. I performed well in Shaatiman because it came from within me. Acting is completely dependent on confidence. I forget about the camera when I’m shooting. I am more happy than others to become Shaktiman again.

Shaktimaan originally aired on Doordarshan in 1997. It is unclear whether the show will return as a film, TV series or web series.
