At this point, Taylor Swift is notorious for dropping clues, whether it’s about her personal life or her professional front. And Swifties have no problem decoding them. Likewise, many are speculating that her MTV VMAs red carpet outfit possibly had something to do with the announcement of the re-release of the Reputation album.

The aforementioned record was released in 2017, and ever since the singer announced that she would be recording her previous work, many of her fans have been eagerly awaiting Taylor’s version.

Swift wore a black and yellow corset plaid gown by Christian Dior on the red carpet. She topped it off with black fingerless, strappy leather gloves and back thigh-high boots.

It definitely gives a nod to her Reputation era, and it didn’t take Swifties long to start chatting online about this potential Easter egg. One fan wrote online, “Her dress screams Reputation!” Another commented, “This is Reputation coded.” Many speculated that she would announce the album’s re-release during Wednesday’s ceremony, but sadly for her fans, she didn’t reveal any such news at the event.

She had previously re-recorded her first six albums, with several songs instantly going viral online, along with the music video for All Too Well, which reportedly reflected her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

As of Today, she only has two albums remaining, one being Reputation and the other being her 2006 self-titled album, Taylor Swift.

Later during the VMAs, she changed her outfit, creating a whole different vibe. The singer wore a sequin short dress with UFO imagery that could possibly be related to her new song Down Bad. According to the publication, Swift sang this song during her Eras Tour with the UFO visual.

Along with winning the hearts of her fans with her outfit, she also won seven trophies including the Video of the Year award for Fortnite. She expressed her gratitude to her crew, fans and her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
