MSI launches Windows 11-based Claw handheld gaming console, announces launch discount of Rs 10,000
MSI’s handheld gaming console Claw has officially arrived in India. The company has announced a discount of Rs 10,000 on every variant of the handheld as a launch offer.

MSI has officially launched its first Windows 11-based handheld gaming console in India. The company says that this is the first handheld gaming console called the Claw that is powered by the new Intel Core Ultra processor. Unlike the global version, the model unveiled in India comes with updated BIOS and GPU drivers. The MSI Claw comes in three variants in India and is priced starting at Rs 78,990 for the Ultra 5 model with 512GB SSD, Rs 86,990 for the Ultra 7 model with 512GB SSD, and Rs 89,990 for the Ultra 7 model with 1TB SSD. The handheld console will be available for purchase on all major e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.
As part of the introductory offer, MSI has also temporarily reduced the price of the handheld console. With the launch offer, the base variant of the MSI Claw will be priced at Rs 68,990 from Rs 78,990, the Ultra 7 model with 512GB SSD will be available at Rs 76,990 instead of the price of Rs 86,990 and the top variant with 1TB SSD will be available at Rs 79,990 from Rs 89,990. This means that it is a straight discount of Rs 10,000 on each variant. The special thing is that these offers will be available only through MSI brand stores.
The MSI Claw is different from its other competitors in the market like the ASUS ROG Ally as it is the first handheld device powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor. MSI says that with the new chipset, the handheld is capable of delivering up to 150 percent performance boost thanks to its new BIOS and GPU drivers. The MSI Claw also features a 7-inch FHD 120Hz touch display, which offers 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. The device also features Hall effect sensors that provide precise control during intense gaming sessions. The Hall effect sensors in both the analog sticks and LT/RT triggers increase the life of the device by avoiding physical contact for activation.
The Claw Cooler Boost uses Hyperflow technology, which aims to effectively manage the thermal output. It features a robust 53WHr battery and 65W fast charging capability, allowing for longer gaming sessions without frequent interruptions. Additionally, the exclusive MSI Center M software offers extensive customisation options, allowing gamers to tailor their experience to their personal preferences. Additionally, the analogue sticks and ABXY buttons are surrounded by RGB light rings.
