Actress Mrunal Thakur won the prestigious Best Actor Award at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Utsavam for her performance as Yashna/Varsha in the Telugu film, Hi Nanna.

“I am extremely grateful for this recognition,” Mrinal said in a statement. “Playing the character of Yashna was truly a gratifying experience that allowed me to explore the depths of love and emotion. I attribute this achievement to my incredible director, talented co-stars and the entire team whose unwavering support made it possible. Made.”

Mrinal attributed the award to the collective efforts of the film’s cast and crew. “This award isn’t just mine; it reflects our collective hard work and dedication to storytelling. I’m excited to continue this journey and share more meaningful stories with our audiences.”

This is Mrunal’s first IIFA award, and she expressed her humility at sharing the honor with fellow actors Rani Mukherjee, who won the award in the Hindi category, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who won the award in Tamil.

“This is my first IIFA award, and sharing this award with incredible actresses like Rani madam who won in Hindi, Aishwarya madam who won in Tamil is a special win. This honor has really made it special,” Mrunal Said.

‘Hai Nanna’ was directed by Shouryuv, who made his directorial debut in Telugu cinema with this film. The film also stars Kiara Khanna, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Angad Bedi, Jayaram and Viraj Ashwin in important roles.
