Motorola’s next foldable phone, RAZR 60 Ultra, is already drawing attention to its official launch. Recently seen on China Tanaka Certification site, this device – Motorola Razr Plus in the US is called RAZR Plus 2025 – promises some impressive upgradation, especially when it comes to its battery. According to the listing, RAZR 60 Ultra will have a dual-cell battery with a joint capacity of at least 4,275mAh. As Envin’s post on X (East Twitter), specific capacity can also reach 4,500mAh. This current RAZR 50 Ultra is a solid step with a 4,000mAh battery. With a large battery, the phone is asked to support 68W fast charging – much faster than 45W charging on the 2024 version.
While the battery and charging upgrade shows the shows, RazR 60 Ultra is not expected to change much in terms of look. It is likely to keep the same 6.9-inch foldable inner screen and 4-inch cover display as its predecessor. Under the hood, however, it is set to pack a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip, which has options for 18 GB RAM and a 2TB storage. The camera setup also seems promising, with a dual 50-megapixel rear camera and 50-megapixel front camera for selfie.
Meanwhile, the standard Motorola RAZR 2025, aka the Razar 50-Toned-Down Edition, a MediaTek Demisplication is rumored to switch to the 7400X processor and come up with 12GB RAM. Interestingly, the leak suggests that its main performance may shrink from 6.9 inches to 6.7 inches seen in earlier models.
Beyond the core upgrade, Motorola is a matter of bringing back an indifferent touch. Recently leaked from tipster Evan Blass The indication that the RAZR 60 Ultra 2015 Moto X Pure may be a wooden finish similar to the adaptable back panel. Whether it is real wood or just a textured look, it can give the phone a unique, standout style. Other color options, like a bold Rio Lal, have become pop up even in early images.
The design itself is closer to the chlameshell shape of the RAZR 50 ultras, with a large cover screen that wrap around the dual cameras. Motorola can twist small details, however – leaks two lower speakers are being replaced by the same large. Software is expected to stay smoothly and close to stock Android, in which the app is to pin the apps for the cover display or use it as a selfie preview.
Some reports suggest that Motorola RAZR 60 may launch 60 Ultra in early April, running Android 15 out of the box. Pricing is still a mystery, but starts at Rs 99,999 in India with RAZR 50 Ultra, Motorola can aim to a uniform range. More details, including other colors such as dark green or impure leather finishes, should be on the surface as near the launch.
