Motorola has finally launched its AI-powered smartphone, the Edge 50 Ultra in the Indian market. The Edge 50 Ultra is the top-of-the-line smartphone in the Edge 50 series. The company had previously made the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion available in India in interesting Pantone shades. However, with the Edge 50 Ultra, the company has tried something completely different – the phone has been presented in a wooden rear panel, which has a nice scent, which is another unique aspect introduced by Motorola in its smartphones. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Price and availability
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has been launched in India at a price of Rs 59,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. However, Motorola is offering an introductory discount of Rs 5000 on the smartphone, which brings the price down to Rs 54,999. If you have an ICICI Bank card or HDFC Bank card, you can get an additional discount of Rs 5000. So if you add all the discounts together, you can get the phone for even less than Rs 49,999. The first sale of Motorola Edge 50 Pro will take place in India on June 24, 2024 at 12 noon on major retail stores including Flipkart, Motorola.in, and Reliance Digital.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra runs on the latest Android 14 operating system and features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform processor, which ensures smooth and fast performance. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which can be expanded up to an additional 12GB, and offers 512GB of built-in UFS 4.0 storage, giving you plenty of space for all your apps, photos, and files.
Security is top notch with an on-screen fingerprint reader, face unlock, ThinkShield and Moto Secure. The phone is equipped with a variety of sensors including proximity, ambient light (front), 3-in-1 sensor (exposure, auto white balance, flicker), accelerometer, gyroscope, SAR sensor and magnetometer (compass).
