Motorola is all set to launch its new budget-friendly smartphone in India today (August 21). The Moto G45 5G is the latest device in the G-series. Keeping up with the G-series tradition, the upcoming smartphone features a vegan leather finish and is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. While the exact price will be revealed only after the launch, rumour has it that the Moto G45 5G will be priced under Rs 15,000. The upcoming smartphone comes after the launch of the Moto G85 5G that was launched a few weeks ago. Barring the price, the Flipkart microsite has already revealed most of the key specs and features of the upcoming device.

The Moto G45 5G will be launched on Flipkart and its home website. Since all the key specifications have already been revealed, we believe this will be a soft launch. The price of the smartphone will be revealed on Flipkart and Motorola India’s website after 12 noon. The company has been posting clips of the upcoming smartphone for the past few days. However, no such live link has been created yet.

Moto G45 5G: Key Specifications

The Moto G45 5G will feature the most popular design of the G series – the vegan leather design finish. The smartphone has a boxy look with rounded edges and a metallic frame. The Moto G45 5G comes in three dynamic colours: Sea Green, Deep Blue, and Red.

It features a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Along with the flat screen, the smartphone features a punch hole display. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Moto G45 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. The upcoming device will run on Android 14. Among other features, the upcoming smartphone will also sport Smart Connect and Family Space, giving it a premium feel.

It has a 50-megapixel quad pixel primary camera. For selfies and video calls, the Moto G45 5G has a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone has a 5000mAh battery. It is expected that a charger will also be available in the retail box.

While the exact price will be known only after the launch, rumours are that the Moto G45 5G will be priced around Rs 15,000. According to tipster @yabhishekhd on X, the exact price of the Moto G45 5G has been leaked. He posted on X that the smartphone will have a starting price of Rs 9,999, including bank offers. The leak also suggested that the sale will go live on Flipkart on August 28.

It is worth noting that the company has confirmed that the upcoming device is the successor to the Moto G34 5G, which was launched in January this year. The G34 was launched at a price of Rs 10,999 for the base variant. Hence, we expect the Moto G45 5G to fall in the sub-Rs. 15k price range.
