Monica Lewinski, a former White House trainee, who was once at the center of one of the most notorious political scams in American history, has said that former US President Bill Clinton should have resigned from the Oval office when the Congress voted for impeachment to him to lie with him. In an interview on ‘Call Hiz Daddy’ podcast, Ms. Lewinski explained why the 42nd US President should have stepped down from her position instead of throwing “under the bus” in 1998 after his relationship became public.

Ms. Lewinski said that the “right way” for Mr. Clinton handled the outcome from her affair when she used to be a 22 -year -old trainee “either to resign” or found a way to find a young man a way to throw a “under the bus”.

“I think the right way to handle such a situation would be to say that it was probably not a business of anyone and to resign. Or to find a way to stay in the office that was not lying and was not throwing a young man, who was starting in the world under the bus,” Ms. Lewinsky said that “Call Hiz Daddy” was hosted by Alex Dadkast.

51 -year -old Ms. Lewinski said, “At the same time, I am listening to myself saying this, and it likes, well, we are also talking about the world’s most powerful office. I either do not want to be innocent.”

Ms. Lewinski’s comment came in response to Ms. Cooper, asking her to reflect on the 1990s scam and how the press and the White House should have navigated the situation when it came to light. “This is really complicated because you are talking about issues and situations where so many people are affected,” he said.

He admitted that he “made mistakes”, however, he called Bill Clinton’s errors “more condemnable than himself”. Ms. Lewinski also said that she did not have a “sexual attack” with Mr. Clinton as it included “level of consent”. But she clarifies that it was Shri Clinton’s “responsibility” that he never kept him as the most powerful person in the country “in that situation.

Bill Clinton was 49 years old at the time of the scam. He initially denied that he was engaged in sex with Ms. Lewinsky. However, he later admitted that this happened and stayed in the office.

Mr. Clinton’s refusal, Ms. Lewinski said, “Gaslighting … felt like a grand scale”.

He said, “I think a young woman had a lot of collateral damage for my generation women to be collapsed on a world platform – for my sexuality, for my mistakes, for everything, for everything,”.

Ms. Lewinski said, “I was lucky that I was holding a strand of my true self, but I lost my future.” “I am very grateful to how my life has changed in the last 10 years. … But it was definitely not a given,” he said.
