After several delays, Mohanlal’s much-awaited film ‘Vrishabh’ is now set for release in Christmas 2025. The Malayalam superstar announced the news while unveiling a new motion poster on Friday.

The period action drama was initially scheduled for a Diwali release and then postponed to November 6, 2025. The film also stars Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika and Neha Saxena in lead roles.

With ‘Vrishabh’, Mohanlal is set to return to the grand period genre with an emotional, action-driven saga. Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, the film will also be released in Hindi and Kannada, making it a true pan-India presentation for the superstar.

The film reportedly features large-scale war scenes and explores the deep emotional bond between a father and son across generations. Although the plot has been kept under wraps, early buzz indicates an ambitious mix of mythology, emotions and high-octane action.
