Actor Mohanlal, who has already given two successful films this year, is now ready for his next release, ‘Taurus’. The manufacturers revealed the first look of the much awaited Magnum Oppus, which is set to hit theaters on 16 October 2025.

On May 21, marking the actor’s birthday, the producers unveiled Mohanlal’s first look from the film. Sharing the poster on X, the actor wrote, “This is a special, dedicating it to all my fans. The wait ends. The storm wakes up. With pride and power, I unveil the first look of Vrusshabha – a story that will ignite your soul.

In the poster, Mohanlal is seen wearing a golden-brown armor with a dragon-scal pattern, holding a large sword. His look includes traditional jewelry including long hair, a thick beard, a white tilak and a nasal ring. The overall design is attracted by mythological and duration effects, indicating on a large-to-life character inherited.

Sharing the poster, Mohanlal further said, “Unveiling it on my birthday makes it more meaningful – your love has always been my biggest strength (SIC).”

As part of the ceremonies, the actor also announced the release date of his biography, ‘Mukhrgam’. Written by Bhanu Prakash, the book has a 47 -year journey of Mohanlal in the cinema world.

Meanwhile, the actor has a strong 2025 with ‘L2: Empuran’ and ‘Thudram’, both films emerging as significant and commercial successes, marking a much -awaited return after a string of low release.

On the work front, Mohanlal is shooting for ‘Hridaypurvam’ of Satyan Anthikad. The film also includes Malvika Mohanan, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeet Pratap, Siddiq, Sabita Anand, Baburaj, Nishan and Lalu Alex.
