The feud between Mohan Babu and Manchu Manoj took a terrible turn when Mohan Babu attacked a journalist at his residence. A criminal case was registered against the veteran actor after the video surfaced online. Following the complaint, Mohan Babu released a statement on his social media handle and explained the circumstances that led him to do so.
Mohan Babu addressed the situation and expressed regret over the incidents that unfolded. He mentioned that personal family disputes have increased and are causing problems to the journalist community. The actor also revealed that due to health reasons he has been in the hospital for the last 48 hours and could not respond immediately.
He admitted that many people entered his house in a fit of rage with the intention of causing harm. Mohan Babu said that he lost his temper and the media got involved in the situation. During the chaos, one of the journalists, Mr. Ranjeet, was injured.
Mohan Babu deeply regretted the outcome and sincerely apologized to Mr. Ranjit for the pain he had caused. He wished him a speedy recovery and expressed his heartfelt regret for the pain caused to the organization.
Part of the statement reads, “In the heat of the moment, when my gate was broken and about 30-50 people, including anti-social elements, forcibly entered my house with the intention of causing harm to the people present there, So I lost my temper.” Amidst this chaos, the media unknowingly got involved in the situation.”
He said, “As I tried to handle the situation, one of your journalists, Mr. Ranjit, unfortunately got injured. This was an extremely regrettable outcome and I deeply regret the pain and inconvenience caused to him and his family.”

According to Telangana Today, a lawyer has approached the police with a complaint against Mohan Babu and his sons, Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj. The complaint demands registration of a criminal case against him. This is in relation to the alleged misbehavior and assault of a TV journalist.
