In the 2025 Met Gala, the white lotus season 3 co-star Amy Lu Wood and Patrick Schwarzenegger re-connecting on the red carpet, marking a remarkable moment for fans of the praised HBO series.
Wood introduced Gala in a custom odd black suit-gown by London designer Priya Ahluwalia, complementing Cartier Jewelry, Hue Tights, Bombus Socks, and Manolo Blanic shoes. The veteran of a Met Gala, Schwarzenegger donated a naval and yellow -colored Balman Zoot Suit.
Patrick Schwarzenegger shared that he invited Amy Lu Wood to participate in the event with him. To reduce the nerves of the big night, Schwarznegger told the variety, “We met, I went to his hotel and we showed together. It’s great.”
Their presence coincides with the success of the White Lotus season 3, which was a premiere on 16 February 2025, and became the most viewed season of the series. Premier attracted 2.4 million viewers, an increase of 57% at the beginning of season 2, and the finale reached 6.2 million viewers, setting a new series record.
The depiction of Chelsea’s Wood, a free-elevated character, was a transformational experience for the actress. In an interview with Elle, she shared that playing Chelsea helped her be more comfortable in her body and embracing confidence. “As Chelsey, I can’t think how I look,” she said. “She does not give a nonsense about how she looks. She is not an unsafe person about her body.”
The performance of Schwarznegger as Chelsea’s partner in the series also attracted attention. Despite facing the ‘Napo Baby’ label due to his famous dynasty, the wood publicly defended him, called him the most difficult task and a kind man.
