Reportedly, the team had initially planned to start shooting earlier, but it was postponed due to the actor’s knee surgery. While further details about the film are yet to be revealed, the project bankrolled by KVN Productions will have Nimish Ravi as the cinematographer, while Thaman S will handle the music.

Earlier, it was also discussed that Mohanlal will be a part of the upcoming action film, with Chiranjeevi playing an important role. Although no official confirmation has been made, reports indicate that Mohanlal may have opted out of the project due to remuneration issues.

Tentatively titled Mega158, it is Bobby Kolli’s second collaboration with Chiranjeevi after the 2023 film Waltair Veerayya. The project is said to be a gangster action film with a deep emotional backdrop.
