Meet Assamese actor who is ready to join India’s first 4000 crore rupees epic.
An actor, known for the specialty in the television show, is fully prepared to make her Bollywood debut in the most expensive film series of India. From television roles to a prestigious epic character, it is not actor Mouni Roy, Tejasvi Prakash.

Bollywood has seen the development of many artists over the years. Actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan, R Madhavan and Yami Gautam are moving from television to films, one will for the transition phase of the entertainment industry. An actor, usually seen in modest roles, is now fully prepared to make his Hindi film debut in a multi-gruesome pan-blind film.
The Assamese actor who is fully prepared to play a reputed character in the epic two-part film series is none other than Surabhi Das. She will be seen portraying Urmila’s role in ‘Ramayana: Part 1 and 2’ contrary to actor Revi Dubey’s Laxman. Urmila is mentioned as the wife of Lord Ram’s younger brother Laxman in Rishi Valmiki’s ‘Ramayana’ and Rishi Tulsidas’s ‘Ramcharitmanas’. Nitesh Tiwari direction is based on both these ancient texts.
Surbhi is known for playing the title role in Colors TV Show – ‘Neema Denjongpa’. He also acted in the Bengali film – ‘Dada Tummy Dusto Bore’ (2022).

Surabhi, in an interview TelescareActor Ranbir Kapoor’s professionalism praised, who plays Lord Ram in the film. He said, “His aura is unmatched. He is a very honest actor and anyone can learn a lot by observing him. I feel very lucky to be a part of such a Magnum project.”
Surbhi further said, “We could not talk much because they had to be in their character on the set, but yes, we exchanged pleasure and they meet everyone with great respect and I think there is an important sign of being a great person. On the last day shooting, we had generally talked and it was surprising to work with him.”
The actor said, “Compared to Ranbir, I spent more time with Sai. He is a very cute and a warm person. Overall it has been a rich experience and I can’t wait for the film’s release,” the actor said.

An India Today report recently said that the two-part series will be made on a shocking budget of more than Rs 4000 crore. Earlier, it was estimated that the film’s budget would be around Rs 1600 crore. However, a source close to the project has now confirmed that the final cost is close to $ 500 million.
The formula was quoted as saying, “The film is being placed at an international level and by the time both films are made, the budget will reach more than 4000 crores. The team is planning to make a special impact to give world -class VFX and the best experience to the audience.”
‘Ramayana’ includes actors Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol as Goddess Sita, demon king Ravan and Lord Hanuman respectively. Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Kunal Kapoor, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chadha, and Indira Krishnan also play important roles.
The first glimpse of the film was released on 3 July.
