Mechanic Rocky is an action comedy that will release on the big screens on November 22. Directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi, the film stars Vishwak Sen, Meenakshi Choudhary and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles. After receiving mixed to positive reviews during its theatrical run, the film has now made its digital debut.
That’s right, the Vishwak Sen starrer is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film was quietly released on the OTT platform on December 13 amid much anticipation.

Talking about the story of the film, Mechanic Rocky is the story of Rocky. He runs a garage and a driving school which he inherited from his father Ramakrishna. Since Rocky lost his mother at an early age, Ramakrishna taught him the value of hard work. He wants Rocky to succeed in his studies, but Rocky struggles and leaves the engineering college.
During this time he falls in love with Priya. She is the sister of his friend Shekhar. Years later, Rocky reconnects with Priya and learns about her family’s struggles after her father’s death.
After this, Rocky faces a new threat from a land grabber. Rocky demands money to save the garage within ten days, and Rocky learns that his father has an insurance policy. However, he has not been named as the beneficiary.
Then, Rocky meets Maya, an insurance executive, to ask for help. The story further depicts Rocky’s fight to save his father’s legacy and uncover the truth behind Shekhar’s death.
In an interview with OTTPlay, Vishwak Sen revealed about his film and said, “The second part of Mechanic Rocky is completely entertaining. I can say with confidence that the audience will neither look at their mobiles nor Will be disturbed only. There has been a change in the style.” And the scenes that follow are thrilling.”
Talking about the delay in the release of the film, Vishwak Sen said that initially there were some date issues with some of the actors. He also said that the film was delayed due to production problems. However, he praised its producer, Ram Talluri, for sticking to the project.
