This is the first death anniversary of Matthew Perry. While paying tribute to the late Friends star, it is important to know how he wanted to leave his mark on this world, according to his words that he said in the year 2022.

While the star made an appearance on the podcast to promote his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, he was asked what legacy he would like to leave behind when he passes away.
Matthew Perry expressed, “I would like to be remembered as someone who lived well, loved well and was a seeker.”
During the conversation, which took place at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema in Toronto at the time, the 17 Again star even said that he would like to be remembered as someone who helps people.
Speaking to Tom Power, Perry also said that in a situation where “an alcoholic or a drug addict comes to me and says, ‘Will you help me?'” I would say yes and offer him my assistance. Will do.
Matthew Perry wasn’t the most loved and highly acclaimed comedy sitcom Friends for which he should be remembered, but his helpful nature and his attitude of making a difference in this world.
In a cover story for People, which was published in October 2022, the actor mentioned things he credits himself for, some of which were “caring about others, never giving up. As much as I do “Helping people as much as I can.”

According to reports, Perry was found dead in a home in the Los Angeles area on October 28, 2023. The actor was found in a Jacuzzi at the residence while first responders were called to the location for a cardiac arrest.
At that time, no drugs were found, according to the report. However, later, it was revealed that the actor had worrying amounts of ketamine in his body.
Subsequently, several arrests were made during the investigation.
