Actress Sonam Kapoor hosted a private baby shower for her close friend and actress-designer Masaba Gupta. Masaba is expecting her first child with husband Satyadeep Mishra. The biscuit-themed baby shower was also attended by Masaba’s mother Neena Gupta, who gave advice to the younger generation on their outfits. Rhea Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor, chef Pooja Dhingra and others attended the event.

Masaba gave a speech at her baby shower, a picture of which was shared by her friend, stylist Tanya Ghavri. She captioned the picture, “To the sweetest mommy to attend a baby shower!” Sonam along with her sister Rhea Kapoor and chef Pooja Dhingra hosted the baby shower for Masaba.

Soni Razdan also shared pictures from the party and wrote on Instagram, “When you’re with the sweetest person in the world, no filter is needed. Wishing the wonderful parents-to-be @masabagupta and @instasattu a wonderfully blissful journey into parenthood.”

In a video from her daughter’s baby shower party, Neena Gupta was seen scolding her son-in-law and actor Satyadeep Mishra for wearing jeans to the baby shower party. Neena said, “I told him not to wear jeans. He should have worn white pants.” Everyone present at the party laughed at this.

A guest also shared a photo of the party’s menu, which included a live burger station, pasta and chicken brioche, among other things.

Masaba had announced her pregnancy on April 18 this year. In a joint Instagram post with Satyadeep, she wrote on social media, “Second news – two little feet are coming to our home! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (plain salted only) #babyonboard #mom&dad (sic).”

Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra got married on January 27, 2023.
