Marvel Studios is not stopping from entertaining us in any way. With its incredible movies and now TV series, the studio has come up with a book that will take you through the stories you’ve already seen on the big screen, but in a very different way.
Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding is a book that shows the world of Marvel in a slightly different way. The book, which is filled with plenty of concept art, also includes work from Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, which was conceived by the head of visual development at Marvel Studios, Meinerding.
As Comic Book.com revealed, the final battle looked almost different from the Avengers’ 2019 entry.
From work-in-process concept art to suit designs, there will be a lot in the book that will make you wonder how it would have looked and felt on screen.
The outlet showcased the Avengers vs. the Black Order and the Outriders, as well as a rematch between Mark Ruffalo’s Smart Hulk and Josh Brolin’s Thanos, which was removed from the film. According to the film’s timeline, the two will fight in Endgame after facing each other five years ago in Avengers: Infinity War.
Another concept art also shows him wearing the Iron Spider armor, with not only our web-slinger but also Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, and War Machine in the frame.
Well, the book shows a lot more than just artwork from Endgame. Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding also includes concept art related to the 2008 Iron Man, including keyframes and concept designs for the first installment of Thor.
You can also get your eyes on the first concept designs of Captain America’s suit from Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as the character’s future films. Meanwhile, the book will feature designs for 2012’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
If you think that’s a lot, wait. This piece of art also includes the suit and gear designs for 2015’s Daredevil, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Additionally, you may enjoy the foreword by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in this book by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry.
Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding will be on sale October 1, 2024.
